My download failed, or the files will not open

Finished files are on the delivery email and on the order. See How do I download my completed edits?.

Try the download again

  1. Open the delivery email and choose Download images, or open Orders → Completed and the order
  2. Download again from Edited images
  3. If you use Dropbox or FTP for delivery, open that link or your FTP folder rather than an older email

Files are removed after the retention window (about 14 days on Standard). See How long do you keep my edited photos?.

When to contact support

Contact support with the order number and the filenames if:

  • The link does nothing, or signs you out and still will not download
  • A count is short (you received 716 files and the order had 717)
  • The file is an older version, not the image you sent later
  • A PSD or TIFF will not open, warns that it is damaged, or opens with a pink or empty overlay

Support can resend the affected files while they are still in retention. A corrupt download should be replaced by Path. Do not keep editing a file that did not open cleanly.

You are not sure which link is current

Use the newest “your images are ready” email, or the order page. Older links can point at a sample or a first version. If two links disagree, tell support which filenames look wrong.
