The invoice does not match the quote

The invoice is the amount Path collects. It can differ from the first quote when the image count, services, turnaround, or an extra charge changed after checkout.

Check the invoice

Pay-as-you-go

  1. Open Orders and the order
  2. Choose Invoice
  3. Compare the total, currency, and line description with the quote or the checkout screen

Monthly billing

  1. Open Billing
  2. Open My Stripe billing portal
  3. Download the invoice that includes the order

Extra charges and faster turnaround show as their own lines or as a later invoice. See Why did the price change after I ordered?.

Currency and tax

The currency is the one on your account when you paid. To use a different currency next time, see How do I change the currency for my future purchases?.

VAT details appear when exemption is set up. See Do I need to pay VAT if I am in the E.U.? and How do I get a VAT invoice?. A custom quote does not include a separate tax line until the invoice is issued.

The total is still wrong

Contact support and include:

  • The order number or quote number
  • The invoice number, if you have it
  • The amount you expected, and the amount on the invoice
  • Whether the currency should be different

Support can send a corrected invoice. Pay the corrected one. Do not pay both if you have been told the first invoice was wrong.

Send the invoice to a billing contact

Order and invoice mail goes to the email on your Path account. Path does not keep a second billing address in account settings. Forwarding rules can copy those messages to your accounts team. See How do I receive notification emails to multiple email addresses?.

For one invoice, contact support with the invoice number and the address that should receive it.
