How do I enable desktop notifications?

Desktop notifications alert you on this computer when an order is complete, even if the Path dashboard tab is closed.

Enable desktop notifications

  1. Sign in to your Path dashboard
  2. Open the bell menu in the header, or go to My account → Notification
  3. Turn on Desktop notifications
  4. Allow notifications when your browser asks
  5. To check the alert on this computer, open My account → Notification and select Send test notification

You will see a confirmation that desktop notifications are enabled. Each computer (and each browser) needs to be enabled separately.

If the browser blocks notifications

Your browser can only ask once. If you previously chose Block:

  1. Open the site settings for Path in your browser
  2. Set Notifications to Allow
  3. Refresh the dashboard and turn the switch on again

Chrome: click the padlock in the address bar → Site settings → Notifications.

Shared computers

Alerts keep arriving on this computer after you sign out, so you still hear about completed orders. If other people use this computer, turn Desktop notifications off before you leave.

Order emails still send as usual. See How do I receive notification emails to multiple email addresses?.
