How do I add or manage passkeys?

A passkey lets you sign in with this device’s biometric unlock (Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello) or a security key instead of typing your password each time. If email two-factor authentication is on, a passkey also skips that confirmation code.

Add a passkey

  1. Sign in with your email and password (and the emailed code if two-factor is on), or with an existing passkey
  2. Open My account → Security
  3. Under Passkeys, enter a device name (for example “Work laptop”)
  4. Choose Add passkey and complete your device’s prompt

You can register more than one passkey (phone, laptop, and so on).

Sign in with a passkey

On Sign in, enter your email and choose Continue, then Sign in with passkey.

Use password instead if you want the password for this visit (and the email code when two-factor is on). See How do I log in to my Path account?.

Remove a passkey

On Security, choose Remove next to any passkey you no longer use. Keep at least one sign-in method (password or another passkey) so you can still access the account.
