A template saves the services and settings from an order or quote so you can reuse them later — without rebuilding the brief every time.
Why use a template?
- Place similar orders without re-selecting services each time
- Keep file formats and notes consistent across jobs
- Speed up repeat work for the same client or product type
How to create a template
- Open a completed (or eligible) order that matches the work you need
- Choose Save as template and give it a clear name (for example “White background packshots”)
- Find it later under Templates in the sidebar
You can also save a template from some quote flows when Path offers that option.
Ask support to set one up
If you agreed services and settings with support — for example after a sample — reply on that conversation and ask for a template. Support can add it to your account, and it then appears under Templates. Say which services the template should include and any options you want to add per order, such as a shadow or color variants.
How to order from a template
- Open New order (or New order in the sidebar)
- Pick your template — or start from scratch with instant pricing if the job is different
- Upload new images, confirm turnaround and preferences, then pay
For a one-off reorder without saving a template, use Repeat order from an existing Processing or Completed order. See How can I place a repeat order?.
Path 101 walks through the same flow in Templates and repeat orders.
